DMC E415 Tin is a shiny metallic shade. The colour helps give embroidery more atmosphere, depth or softness without making the overall design feel busy.
Use DMC E415 for festive accents, small highlights, lettering, ornaments and details that are meant to catch the light. The shade is especially useful when a pattern needs a little more direction or nuance.
DMC E415 combines beautifully with white, cream, navy, red, green, black, taupe and calm matte threads. Pay particular attention to the contrast with your fabric, as light and dark backgrounds make the same colour look different.
Work with short thread lengths and pull gently through the fabric; metallic thread often requires a little more patience than ordinary cotton.
